Hey all,
I am not sure if this is the best place to ask this or not so feel free to repost this in the correct forum.
However, that being said I have 2 questions:
1) I live on the other said of the mountains from Los Angeles and I get all the major networks (30 channels currently including ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX). I built the infamous bowtie antenna and put it up in my attic in my 2 story house, and I get all of those channels from that. I decided to build another one and tried to point it in another direction in my attic and use a combiner but then I lost channels. I figure it some sort of phase cancellation or interference issue but I was wondering what people knew about using 2 of the exact same antenna and how to boost the signal reception using them in the same direction to pick up more stations or in different directions to pick up more. I've resigned myself to being satisfied with the channels I have but I am always pushing for more! Any thoughts or ideas on why I was losing channels and how to better utilize my 2 antennas??
2) i want to hook up my antenna to the house wiring but I have read that I apparently need a diplexer (or two) instead of a combiner and splitter set up. We have TWC/Charter cable internet that needs to be combined with and then split from the same wall hook up inside the house. I need help/recommendations please! Thanks!!
