I live in Hawaii and have a 1.2 meter Directv dish. It is hooked up and working but since I am moving shortly I purchased a Satlook Lite so that hopefully I don't have to call the installer and wait 3 weeks. I hooked it up to the working dish to figure things out and have a problem. When I turn it on I get a fairly low reading on 101 but since the dish isn't plumb that doesn't concern me. On 99 and 101 the bar moves up to 98 and 99, but in no case does it lock. It simply reads the number and says Searching. On 119 it occasionally locks but since I am using and SL3 LNB I just ignored that.
It is hooked up as follows: I have disconnected the cable from the antenna SWM to the house so there is no connection at all to the receiver. I hooked the meter to one of the lnb ports. What am I doing wrong?
