Uniden U60, Yagi9 and no reception...

Hello All,
I have :
Uniden U60 4g/Lte (all dip switch at off, all lights green)
Yagi 9 installed 25 ft in the air in a classic TV tower, well grounded.
75ft Coax (came with the kit, must assume it is the right one)

situated 3 Km in a straight line to the tower which is at 178 degree (so pretty much full south) from me
so it should be very easy to aim and reach the Telus tower which according to the tower locator app has an altitude of 172m
my house sits at 180 m. There is nothing really in between I do not see the tower, but almost. No tree in the path as far as I can see.
When in the tower (freezin' my butt) I get 2 "bars" on my phone (LG G6)

Yet No matter what I do I cannot get the U60 to boost anything.

- Could the tower be too close and because of this too hard to aim with a directional YAGGI and an omni antenna be better?
- Are those 7 meter altitude difference really too much for the antenna to be set horizontal ?
- Is there a way to test coaxial/connector integrity without ripping it all out again? (got 20 tie-wrap on the tower and another bunch in the ceiling of the basement
- Is there a way to test if the Yagi is actually connected inside?
- is there a way to communicate with the U60 to see if it is actually doing something?

I have a basic ohm/volt meter, but of course it does not have 50 ft probe wires

Thank you all very much for your time.

Eric
