Over the air TV interference

I have a DB8 with a preamp outside about 25ft off the ground with a rotor. It has worked great for quite awhile. Lately I have been getting this interference that breaks up and even shuts down certain channels. Using an old analog/CB trick, I have on analog channel out of Canada, I found there is an external interference in the area. On the analog channel I see a snowy like horizontal bars rotating up the screen. I checked for AC noise, used a AM radio for interference's, used a EMF detector, shut of things in the house to look for change with no results. So I have determined it was external interference. It is the strongest when my antenna is pointing aprox, 261 deg. from my house. I spoke the a guy that has a Ham set in that direction, but I don't think he is the problem. I am thinking it may be some sort of a business. I don't get the interference every day. it is intermittent and generally on one of the three days Fri, Sat or Sun. But again it doesn't happen every weekend. The thing that makes me think it is a business, when it happens there is a pattern, the interference will go from about 8:00am to 8:00pm plus or minus a few minutes on those days, that is consistent. Is there a device that can be used to home in on that interference when it is present? Is there a device that can be made?

Dan
