I have a rather obscure soundbar (Fluance AB40, excellent) but I'm unable to program it with the DirecTV remote. I've contacted Fluance and DirecTV and their tech support both confirmed that it isn't supported. It appears to be a standard IR signal (Logitech Harmony remotes are working) but I'd prefer to use the DTV remote (Genie C61 4k box). Questions:
Fluance is a Canadian manufacturer whose parent company Electrotronics was purchased by Bluehome, a division of Circusworld displays, and so on and so forth. A couple of those manufacturers are options in the DTV audio menu but those options do not control my soundbar. I even considered downgrading to the old DTV learning remote but it isn't compatible with the C61, and I need RF.
Questions:
Thanks!

Questions:
- Is there an efficient way to request remote control support for this model from DirecTV? The DTV tech said he'd "submit my question to his engineers, sort of like a suggestion box".
- What's the best way to find an alternative match for my IR signal? Samsung, for example has 43 codes in the DTV database that all failed. What other manufacturers have a large number of codes for testing? Pro tip: DTV (at least in the new UI) limits manufacturer searches to 5 per month, but this resets when rebooting the receiver.
Thanks!
