5 lnb

I bought a 5 LNB form Solid Signal sometime ago as a spare. The one I received is different from the one currently installled and just realized this. The one in use now has 4 leads from the lnb and only 1 is in use to my TV in the family room. The new LNN only has 1 lead, has a power cord unit and a spliter. Can you please tell me what I need to do when its necessary to replace theone currently in use. If you have a diagram that would be excellent. If I have difficulty with looseing signal in storms will the new LNB wth power supple help resolve this?
