2 antennas/opposite directions

Just switched over to DirecTV with the Genie. :) I'm in the "1% no locals", and I've waited until they got an OTA solution that didn't require an AM21 and antenna run to every box.

I'm in a situation where I need to pick up stations in opposite directions. I have several ~50 miles to the south, but I have a few that are in the opposite direction 10-20 miles to the north. (Coordinates: 36.9166,-86.5114)

I have a ClearStream 2V (C2-V-CJM) on order for my southern stations and will be testing upon arrival. I was doubtful that a true multi-directional like the Winegard MS-2002 would be strong enough to pull in my distant stations, but I'm also doubtful that the beam width of the 2V is enough to pick up my northern stations. I may get lucky after testing, but I'd like to get some configuation suggestions on combining 2 antennas. However, I don't want to shoot myself in the foot and have the small antenna weaking the larger one. I can distance them physically.

Can I combine a small or indoor directional UHF antenna indoor with the ClearStream 2V? What are some options?
