Hey there... new to the Satellite world so bear with me please. Recently installed a COM1000 and dish on the roof, etc at work and will likely need some help with that but for now, onto a personal question.
I have an H24 receiver, Slimline dish with SL354NR-01 LNB (one F-connector)and power inserter. Also have a box full of b-band converters if needed.
Gonna set the dish on a tripod Saturday in Athens and pretty sure I can fin a signal. My question is basically "then what?" Do i need the b band converter at all? or just run coax from the dish to the power inserter and from there to the receiver? Or i've seen diagrams using a splitter in the mix...
Basically, what would be the easiest to setup in a parking lot with a generator, TV and these DirecTV components? Thanks for your help.
