Wireless Systems

I don't think this is the blog I am looking for to voice my opinion but will try. I saw a new feature that is perfect to what I was wanting, the wireless system. This would be perfect to take the TV outside during the summer or if company stays over I can have a TV in the guest room. This seemed to be perfect for me when I saw it advertised, so I quickly picked up my phone to order it for the one TV. I asked about it and seemed as it was only going to raise my payments about $5.00 which was ok. So I told them I would like to have one, thinking they would be able to just mail me one. Not only could they not mail me one, I couldn't even get one. This service was only for new customers only. I thought what, that is crazy. The rep gave me an address where I could purchase a unit similar to that one for about $400.00. I was not going to pay that much, when I could just run a cable for a few dollars, but the wireless would be perfect. This is so strange that they would rather put all this expensive equipment into someone's home they no nothing about. These people could have the unit for a month, then skip town and the units are gone. I know this stuff happens, because I use to work for the cable company. This is a big issue with renters, they could careless about getting you your equipment back, try to find me. But here I am, been with them for a while, pay my payments ever month with out no problems. Never had to have anyone out to work on anything, no issues. But I can not have one, will not install one to a customer they know is good, but will put a complete house full to a person they don't even know. I believe this is so unfair to good customers, what is the reason for being a good customer, when a unknown customer gets better service.
