Scenario: 2 locations approx 3 miles apart. Both are served with mediocre internet connections (service interruptions are common). I would like to link the 2 location for 2 purposes: Share services between the 2 locations (backup storage for instance) AND provide failover for the internet connection. I believe I can get decent line of sight between the 2 locations and that the NB-5G22 is a suitable device(s) for the link. What I'm not clear on is how to configure for failover in this type of situation. I'm not looking to spend huge amounts of money. I'm curious if a working arrangement can be had with consumer level routers of if this requires the big boy products. Any suggestions?
