Hi, I'm only able to write to you because I have just now unplugged my Genie Video Bridge's power. For years, I've used a standard cable company modem and wifi router (and most recently a combined unit) with a Netgear or D-Link wifi extender. Ever since I had a wireless Genie installed in my remodeled kitchen, the network associated with the wifi extender is practically dead. My connections in my office where I access the extender the most, dropped from 8 to 12 mbps, to under .5 mbps, with frequent periods of non-responsiveness. Rebooting the D-link sometimes helped for a few minutes, but then it slowed down again. I suspected the Genie Video Bridge was interfering with the extender, and that's why I unplugged it. Any suggestions before I call DirecTv?
Thank you
Fred
