Hi folks, new here, but I think I will be lurking about from now on...
I have been in custom residential electronics over 25 years, but could use a bit of advice if someone has been studying this problem. Searching products on the web is not the same as getting info from the guy that just made it work...
My customer has a good antenna from the Orient, :) , but it had horrible '70 style breadboard electronics, both at the antenna and the cheapo interface box, so I threw them away, and no rotor needed here on Amelia Island, just want to get the best performance from the separate UHF/VHF 300 ohm feeds, combine them and amp up the frequencies that need it.
I thought modest amping prior to the 50+ ft. run to TV might be best accomplished before the combining, or in a single device.
Thanks in advance for any responses,
Bruce Hinton
Mods, move this to proper location, I didn't mean to post in DirectTV
