Transferring from Dish DVR (Hopper) to Directv DVR (Genie)

Hey all,


I have a Dish customer who is interested in switching to Directv but doesn't want to lose her saved programs and movies. Is there a way to backup her Dish recordings and upload them to a Directv DVR? I know you can backup programs to an external hard drive on both services — the question is: are they cross-compatible??


Any information would be great!
