Connection question with HR44 Genie and Samsung TV

I'm replacing my older Sony HD TV with Samsung's 2015 model UN78JU7500FXZA. I currently have the Sony connected to the Directv HR44 Genie and is connected to Whole Home via coax. I have a Decca connected to coax out of my router upstairs. I am also currently using a Roku and Apple TV connected to the Sony TV via HDMI and internet via hard wire Ethernet.

I want to use the smart TV apps within the TV (not the Roku...at least not with the new Samsung TV). So my question is, if the new Samsung is connected to the Genie which is connected to the Coax (Which gives it internet), how is it set up with Ethernet for the TV apps? Meaning, I doubt the Coax is as quick a connection as the hard wire (possible, but I doubt it).

Also, I've read most of the threads in this forum along the subject line of 4K, RVU, etc. At this time, I don't see the advantage of setting up the RVU or using the C61 client with the TV and lose my OTA through the HR44 (as well as pausing live TV if setting up and using only the RVU). All for 2 channels of PPV 4K. At some point when/if 4K becomes broadcast, I'll re-think my setup.

Thanks
