Wireless genie's gone wired. Or what wifi channel does WVB use

I'm curious if anyone knows the wireless channel that directv's wireless genies, and access points use? Also if I have cat6 everywhere can I bypass the access point all togheter and just plug a cat 6 into the genie and mini's?

The 2.4ghz frequency can can crowded pretty fast if u have a lot of wifi networks around.
