Hello,
I have a roof antenna with a pre-amp. I receive 17 channels crystal clear with no pixelation. I am in zip code 54911
Last week we had a big wind storm and channels 11-1 and 11-2 completely quit working. No pixelation...no signal...nothing. I just came off the roof and everything looks good that I can see. All the elements look like they are there. I still get 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 5-1, 14-1, 14-2, 26-1, 26-2, 26-3, 32-1, 32-2, 32-3, 38-1, 38-2, 38-3 crystal clear with no pixelation.
At first I thought it was the station having problems, but my friends are still receiving and if I put a pair of rabbit ears on the TV I can get 11-1 and 11-2 perfectly.
What would cause just one channel in the middle of the range to completely disappear? We had a tornado a few years ago and it bent the mast so the antenna was laying on the roof and we still got all the channels!
The antenna is probably 15 -20 years old. Time for a new antenna?
Thanks for any advice!
Matt
