I have several questions related to swapping out a Zinwell 6X16 multiswitch in favor of a SWM-16, and subsequently installing a CCK to enable a commercial customer to use the DirecTV iPad app. The customer's current setup is a SLMLN5 shared with a neighboring building, with each of the four lines from the satellite dish running through a 1X2 splitter to connect the two buildings. From the 1X2 splitter, approximately 100-foot coax runs lead into the customer's building and into a Zinwell 6X16 multiswitch with its associated power unit. From the 6X16 multiswitch, coax runs of up to 100 feet connect through BBCs to fourteen H21-200 receivers. All receivers are working fine, with no 771s experienced.
I swapped out the Zinwell 6X16 and put in its place a SWM-16 multiswitch with its associated PI29R1-03 29v power inserter, connected to the SWM-16 via a 3-foot length of copper core coax leading from the POWER TO SWM port on the power inserter to the DC PWR port on the SWM-16. In order to reduce variables at this stage of the installation, I removed the BBC from the coax cable leading to an H21-200, and connected the coax cable that leads to the H21-200 directly to the SWM1 output port on the SWM-16. So no splitter with its associated signal loss between the SWM-16 and the H21-200. Plugged in the power inserter to power the SWM-16, and noted the green LED on the power inserter is illuminated. Turned on the H21-200. Changed the Switch Type on the H21-200 to 01: SWM. Now I get consistent 771 on the H21-200. Restarting the H21-200, disconnecting and reconnecting the coax lines leading to and from the SWM-16 and the H21-200 did not solve the problem, nor did unplugging and re-powering the power inserter. I expected that simply changing out the Zinwell 6X16 with a SWM-16 would not introduce any further signal losses, and that I would still be able to get a usable signal at the H21-200. Did I miss something in the equation?

1. If an amplifier is necessary to resolve the 771 issue, and keeping in mind that the customer wants to have IP control over all 14 receivers, can I install a Sonora LA142R-T and between the SWM1 and SWM2 outputs on the SWM-16 and two short runs of coax cable leading to two 1X8 green label splitters to feed 14 receivers?
2. Should I install band stop filters on each of the four satellite lines leading to the SWM-16 to prevent SWM and IP signals from potentially interfering with signals in the neighboring building?
