Really bad signal at home

Hey guys

For starters i am a beginner so bare with me and i am not so modern when it comes to signal boosting etc i remember hitting the TV and moving the Arial! back in the good old simple days. i am having a few problems and it would be great if you could help with my situation.

Currently using FOXTALE $141 a month 65 channels and WiFi 24 month contract
And it has been working fine for many months now Just lately i have been having some serious trouble with my signal on my TV as everyone knows the signal drop is always random, But it is starting to drive me crazy so i thought i would do something about it. I went onto a classified ads Australia signal booster site and brought one, linked it up to the dish and there is no difference what so ever:confused: i have tried to install the signal booster in so many different ways it is unbelievable and still when i do a signal check it is poor, Plan did not work and i still loose signal at the most inconvenient times of course (half way through a movie) haha

Does anyone know how to boost my signal?? for my WiFi and my TV signal?? is there settings menu's i am missing? could it be something as simple as a bad wire
any advice would be greatly appreciated
