cannot GET NBC antenna 14 mi. behind me???

Have a "bowtie" and sorry, can't remember where I ordered it from...I think from signal?
Can't find it online now...it is mounted correctly? horizontally...like a real bowtie (about 3' wide, 1.5' tall)
using cat6 about 30' run on top of roof...chimney.

I get everything where it is pointed...cbs, abc, ion etc...all 25-35 miles away fine

The nbc antenna is 14.5 miles directly in opposite direction and all I get is pixelation combined with a clear picture but stuttering and delay..depending on time of day, but usually all day

It seems I do not need a booster/amp if it is that close (but please correct me) but should I raise antenna or get an omni antenna (not sure which mine is)

I also painted it for aesthetics, but that couldn't affect signal could it?

30' high, 27410, lots of trees

and I have a yairi fm antenna under the roof for my stereo but that is about 11 feet lower than tv antenna...any help?
