New antenna installation keeps losing signal

Hello all my location is 14048

I recently bought a HDB8X antenna to get signal out of buffalo. The setup is on my roof with a winegard 8700 pre amp. I have 50 foot of RG6 quad shield cable running to the power supply for the pre amp and then another 30 foot of cable running to the main tv. I am not using a splitter at this time as I only have one tv hooked up. The tv is a vizio that was bought only a year ago. The problem is that I do not get channel 7.1 (ABC) and channel 2.1 (NBC) comes in and then dissapears. It comes in clear as a bell for about 10 seconds than dissapears and the tv says "no signal" there is no snow or anything else. Is it possible that I am overdriving the signal and should unplug the pre-amp until i split the signal to other tvs.

Also I have two different transmitters broadcasting out of buffalo. The recomended compass readings for these transmitters are 39 degrees at 41 miles away and 77 degrees at 36 miles away. Should I am the entire antenna in the middle at 56 degrees or point the two seperate transmitters at the respective towers?
