Hi-I have an existing Directv network and a wireless network in my home as shown below. I would like to extend the wireless network (for computer and phone internet access) into the second building that also has a directv receiver.. Powerline adapters won't work because the signal has to go through a subpanel. I could use the existing coax cable but I don't think MoCA will work with a Directv signal on the same cable.
QUESTION: Can I tap into the Directv network and interface it with a wireless router as shown in the "Desired" sketch below, If so, what are the "magic boxes" that I need to interface.the new router with the existing directv network?
