Question about interrupting startup on HR24 to see real main menu not DRE menu

I was told that the RC71H remotes have and do not have RF capabilities. I can't seem to get a straight answer. I figure I'll find out for myself. Our hotel installation requires the HR24 DVR to be mounted inside a solid door covered cabinet below the TV. The customer does not want a target eye on front of the TV or pass-thru cable. The HR24 is RF capable, the RC71H I'm not sure. I know once you reset the receiver and get to "Step 2 of 2" screen you press a certain button on the remote to access the menu of the HR24 instead of the DRE menu. I need to do this in order to access the Remote settings. Can someone remind me which button I need to push on the remote during this process?
