my neighbor has comcast high speed buisnes inernet and phone andtv he recently moved in with me his office is about 75 feet from my house i have dsl from windstream and only get about 2mbps download speed on a good day i ran a cat5e wire from his cisco dual band wifi router to my netgear ac1600 dual band modem router just to see and got connected at over 300 mbps on 2.4 g so i would like to run a coax cable to my house but mis modem has only 4 ethernet ports so i would like to put a splitter on the cabel where it enters his building they have a block with a moca filter right there can i use a deca coax to ethernet adapter on comcasts signal line to run a line to my house and will i need a moca filter before plug into my modem i dont have a big network a couple of tvs one computer i want to hard wire in and a fire tv box that will be hard wired also plus a laptop and two fire tv sticks which will be wireless the block where his signal comes into the shop is maybe 50 t0 60 feet to my modem router or should i come from his modem and use mine as just a router or axcess point i cant get a good enough signal wirelessly in my house unless i move my router out side and i would like to cut the cord on my tv and just stream every thing eventually any help would be greatly appreciated :confused::confused::confused:
