I'm having trouble installing a H24-700 receiver I just got. I live in a condo unit that has no coax anywhere. Currently, all internet, VoIP, and DirectTV comes over the optical connection and split into ethernet from a mystery box that I don't have an ID on (I don't think it's commercially available). The ethernet connection goes to the directTV receiver. H22-? directTV receiver which is MFH3 compliant and I get the directTV channels except the 3D ones. Those were working last December 2012 until a software update started blocking them saying the hardware does not support 3D (something like that). So, I'm trying the latest receiver but don't know how to install it. It is giving a 771 searching for satellite message. I have tried the special DirectTV Ethernet connection from the mystery box and regular Ethernet connection from the mystery box. Is there a special sequence needed at startup of the H24-700 receiver?
