Problem with AM21-N OTA receiver

A local OTA tower (only 10 miles from my house) transmits a pair of DTV OTA channels, I will call them XX-1 and XX-2. My DirecTV package offers XX-1, but does not offer XX-2. (If it matters, Channel XX-2 is MeTV.) Therefore, I also have an AM21-N OTA receiver and have it connected to my H34-700 DVR thru the standard USB link. On my initial installation, the menu setup window indicated a signal strength for XX-2 was >85% and everything functioned perfectly for the first 6 months or so.

PROBLEM:
Within the past week, I can no longer receive a local OTA Channel XX-2 thru the AM21-N OTA Receiver. However, as luck would have it, the AM21-N is still perfectly able to receive sister channel XX-1 plus ALL of the remaining 6-8 local OTA channels. The only OTA channel that it CAN'T receive is the ONLY one I really wanted in the first place. I have done more than a dozen re-initiallizations of the AM21-N forcing it to delete scanned channels, re-scan, etc. etc. I have also unplugged both the AM21-N and my H34-700 for 15 minutes or so with no success. The AM21-N must be fully functional because ALL of the other OTA channels which are available are found. The AM21-N Receiver simply acts as if channel XX-2 no longer exists . . . . at ANY signal strength. Following an OTA scan, Channel XX-2 does NOT even show up in the "available" OTA channel list. However, the same list DOES show sister channel XX-1 (with a good signal strength >85%) plus the remaining 6-8 local OTA channels. It is as if Channel XX-2 is not broadcasting.

Why would the AM21-N OTA receiver suddenly be unable to find one particular local station, when the exact installation worked perfectly for the past 6 months?
This channel is on-the-air 24/7, has a VERY STRONG signal and is easily received when connected directly to TV.

Before anyone suggests it, I realize that I could simply view this OTA channel directly thru a single TV (since that configuration works fine).
However, if I do that, I lose the ability to record this channel on the DVR and that is why I initially purchased the AM21-N to begin with.
In addition to the H34-700, I have 3 additional clients. I wanted the ability to pass all media thru the DVR and then to all remaining TV's within my house.
