HR24 vs Genie anything Fast forward / Rewind performance.

I have a Directv HR24. I love it. Want to expand to 1 more TV. Directv said to go with Genie.
How well does the fast forward / rewind compare. Do you get 4 steps in speed. Does the screen refresh fast during fast forward / rewind?
Can it be setup to just jump 30 seconds instead of fast forward a 30 second block?

I really don't have need for 4k at the moment and dont expect to anytime in the next few years.
I also don't need more than 2 tuners on each device.
I will purchase though Solid Signal if it gets me a HR24 should that be the better performing unit.
