Remote Control Question about DRE

Hi,

We are looking to install the DRE system in our hotel. I'm trying to get an answer to the DRE system remote control. We have the same televisions in all our rooms. Will the remote controls be interchangeable? Meaning if a guest took a remote from room 103 and tried to use it in room 304, will the remote have to re-programmed for the received in room 304?

We are currently with charter and unfortunately the remotes for the charter boxes are programmed to a specific box. We usually have a lot of teams staying at our hotel and the remotes find their way to different rooms. This means housekeeping has to re-program remotes to control the boxes and this has become a big problem (not to mention the boxes frequenlty needing to be power cycled due to lack of picture or sound).

We were going to go with the front end system because of this problem but now are considering the DRE as long as the remotes can be used throughout the property.

Outside of the issue mentioned above would you guys recommend the front end system over DRE for any other reason?
