Hello everyone. I'm hoping someone can provide a quick answer to a question about proper cable selection. I'm adding on to the house and in advance of the earthwork for the foundation, we moved our Direct TV dish and temporarily laid the cable on top of the ground to the house. That cable is RG6 and it's been working fine. But now we are digging a trench to bury electric power cable that will connect a couple buildings to the main house and we'd like to use that same trench to bury the satellite cable. The total run underground is approx. 150 feet.
Will the RG6 be OK for burial? Is there another, more robust cable that might be better?
Thanks!
