Long Range VHF High Antenna

I currently have the Clear Stream 2v with a Winegard LNA-200 preamp. I'm about 65 miles from the tower. I get VHF 11-13 and UHF but am unable to get a consistent signal from VHF 7-10. LA to the north and San Diego to the south both have networks in that range I miss out on (depending on which way i point it). I don't want to go out and buy a 10-foot $150 antenna if I don't need to.
